He showed himself, the animal came quickly to meet him, Otero raised his arms, looked out at the astinofine balcony of Adulator’s shameless pythons and stuck his harpoons high up; and while the entire plaza erupted in an explosion of joy, the bullfighter walked proudly to the stage. Logically, they forced him to salute, and the standing men honored a great bullfighter who saluted with ceremony and solemnity, as the feat deserved.
