Shakira, Madonna and BTS will perform at the 2026 World Cup final on July 19 in New York, which for the first time will feature a halftime show, FIFA announced this Thursday. Although the details have not yet been confirmed, the incorporation of a halftime show (typical of American sports) will make the break of the most important match in the cup last longer than the regulation 15 minutes. The idea seems to be inspired by the Super Bowl, where a great show at half time that usually generates great expectation and impact. The last one, much talked about, was starring Bad Bunny.
