They lasted little. Despite the continuous problems with the servers, the comic tickets with Malaga went on sale at 12.00 yesterday and in just a few hours the vast majority were exhausted. Vivaticket, the platform that manages its acquisition, communicated in the afternoon that those corresponding to Friday had exhausted themselves and, shortly after, did the same for Saturdays. There is no longer for Sunday. They are only available for Thursday, the debut of the fair beyond the United States. Of course, it is not known how many because the organization has not offered the figures. Four months after their celebration, they have not reported any detail of the event: neither guests, nor panels, nor presentations. It is barely known to take place from September 25 to 28 at the Palace of Fairs and Congresses in the capital of Malaga.

“The reception has been brutal,” explain Comic sources with Malaga, where they are “grateful to so much enthusiasm” as demonstrated by the rapid sale of most tíckets. From the organizing company they celebrate success while explaining that the details of their more than 300 hours programming will be known “over the next weeks” and that all they are doing is continuing the mode of operation That the brand develops in its main headquarters, San Diego, where the names of the participants and the presentations are dissolved with counts. “We work with the same logic and, in addition, the massive sale of tickets demonstrates the fan’s confidence in the brand and that everything that will do will be top level,” add the same sources.

In this first edition of the Great Comic Fair, Manga and Audiovisual in Europe, tickets cost 50 euros per day, plus five euros of management for each day. That is, 220 euros for those who want to go to the full event. Followers under 13 will enter free if they are accompanied by an adult. Those who have managed to acquire their passes do not know how many fans will cross. During the presentation of the Comic with Malaga, the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, announced that 60,000 people would attend the meeting. Later, the executive director of the appointment, Javier Barbera, told El País that the capacity had been limited to 45,000 people, that is, just over 11,000 a day. “As there are still tickets for sale for Thursday, we are not going to give the numbers yet. We want to do it well so that there is no noise with the figures,” they argue since the organizing company.

This Friday it was enough to enter the web to verify that there were still tickets available for Thursday. And for a moment in the morning there was also for Saturday. Meanwhile, the networks continued to show the discontent of numerous users for the procedure to make the purchase. “Every time my turn is going to arrive and I have to queue again. I’ve been in this afternoon,” wrote a user. “We have to pay 5 euros of management expenses by entry when we have been errors and problems on your website, so as not to get the day we wanted,” said a user referring to Vivaticket, the platform that has made the management, which published a message in X this noon: “We are answered with all possible agility to such a volume of messages. Without a doubt, we will try to help every person who contacted us.” From the comic they add: “The volume was very high and are technical things that occur in such a massive sale, but were solved on the fly.”

This is the first time that the fair leaves the United States. The agreement signed by the Junta de Andalucía and the City Council of Malaga with the company Dentsu – which has the license of the event – provides that the administrations pay 3.5 million euros for the celebration of the event for at least three years in 2025 and 2027.
