Tipton and Coseley Building Society has again donated £12,000 to Brierley Hill-based Black Country Foodbank, the same amount it donated in 2023.

The food bank helps those in crisis by providing emergency food and hygiene supplies while developing a longer-term solution.

Colleagues from Tipton and Coseley Building Society visited the food bank to present the team with a check and pledged a further donation for 2025. They have also set up collection points at their branches in Bilston, Dudley and Tipton.

Chief executive Adam Evetts said: “The ongoing cost of living crisis is having a profound effect on many people living in our local area.

“Black Country Foodbank is helping support people during these difficult times and we are very proud to support their incredible work to make a positive difference in our community.”

Jen Coleman, CEO of Black Country Foodbank, said: “Working with Tipton in 2023 and 2024 has been a great experience.

“Financial grants play a key role in meeting current requirements and working towards a better future. We deeply appreciate Tipton’s support.
