Until a few hours ago it was raining in Madrid, but Rels B was confident that it would clear up just in time for the presentation of their new album, love love Flakk: “Heaven is with us. See you in the Plaza Mayor to listen to the full album,” the Mallorcan artist wrote on his social networks hours before the collective listening. “In these times when everything is so instantaneous, having your attention is a privilege,” he said just as he went on stage.

The event—scheduled at 9:30 p.m.—gathered hundreds of the musician’s followers surrounding the stage: a kind of fish tank that simulated a musical studio from where Rels B played the 11 new songs, which will be available starting tomorrow, Friday. “It is the best thing we have created,” said the artist about this project, which came as a “healing,” he admitted, “from spending six months in the Colombian nature.

Almost half an hour late, the urban music rapper finally appeared and immediately the Plaza Mayor was filled with cell phones in the air. From the balconies and the bases of the streetlights, attendees also watched Rels B dance standing or sitting on a sofa to his new songs, at times, with the flag of Mallorca hanging around his neck. While the public followed him to the letter on the screens.

Contrary to what several attendees expected, Rels B did not sing. It was a listening party, in which the artist limited himself to commenting and introducing each of the songs. One of the most emotional was the one he dedicated to his “pretty mom” and which, according to him, is the album’s speech: I learned to say no. The event was held after the proclamation given by the journalist Sonsoles Ónega in the Plaza de la Villa, which kicked off the San Isidro festivities.

With his past tour, A New Star World TourRels B filled some of the most important venues in Spain and Latin America. In this new album, the musician shows himself in full personal and artistic maturity, in a creative manifesto that reviews the styles that have marked his career. The album pays special attention to the varied rhythms that make up the Afro musical universe, incorporating sounds that traverse from the afrobeat to more melodic records close to urban pop.

While listening in Madrid, he also took the opportunity to announce his next live performance. It is planned that some of the songs from love love Flakk will sound next July 4, when the artist debuts in the stadium concert format. The event will be at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, as the screen on the stage recalled moments before the performance tonight. Tickets for this event range between 50 and 100 euros, although for the VIP areas they reach 200. The Mallorcan returns less than a year after his successful Afrolova’25with 11 new songs.

Daniel Heredia (Palma de Mallorca, 32 years old), a boy who started, at the age of 17, recording street musicians with a cheap device on the street, has ended up becoming one of the most listened to Spanish urban music artists. With millions of views thanks to songs like Me o YOU GO WITHOUT (fav)Rels B was the most listened to Spanish artist abroad in 2025—for the second year in a row—according to Spotify, although it did not enter the list of the 10 most played within Spain.
