Paris Hilton has been praised by fans after she spent the day donating to those affected by the Los Angeles fires.

The star volunteered for a number of organizations on Sunday, including the Pasadena Humane Society, where she met a cat that was separated from its family during the Altadena fire.

Hilton, who heartbreakingly lost her own Malibu home in the Palisades fire, petted the cat as she stood next to the cage in the video as she tried to reunite the cat with its owner.

The animal lover, 43, also opens his home to a foster dog whose family had to surrender him after losing their own home.

“Hi everyone, I’m here at the Pasadena Humane Society and today I’m here with this cat,” Paris began as she stood next to the cat.

“He’s been here four days so far and he doesn’t have a collar or a microchip, so they don’t know who the owner is, so I wanted to show him so you can see and so he can go back home. .

“And I’m also going to foster another dog that was given up by his family and lost his home in a fire.

“And we’re going to go and see if there are any other dogs that they’re still looking for their owners, and we just want to let everyone know that this is such an amazing charity. What they do for animals, and they do so much work. So the most important thing is to get donations.

“I just wanted to come here today to share my platform and raise awareness and really highlight the amazing foundations that are just doing this work because this is — these are our babies. And we’re going to find your owner.

‘I love you!’ he told the cat. “And he was from the Altadena fires,” he added.

He added information about the cat to the video and shared a longer clip where he admires the animal.

Paris gained a new fan that day, as the cat clearly loved the affection and even rocked her LA Dodgers cap.

“I love you,” she sighed.

Paris was also visited by Baby2Baby, a non-profit that benefits children living in poverty, and in addition to Hilton, Montebello, a city in Los Angeles County.

Hilton said the hotel was hosting families displaced by the fire and he was dropping off various items for them.

“Yesterday I had the privilege of volunteering to support an inspiring impact in my hometown of Los Angeles (sparkling heart emoji). The day was such a powerful reminder that by lending a helping hand or donating what you can, we all have the power to help those in need,” she said.

“My first stop was @Baby2Baby where my team and I helped pack essential supplies for babies and toddlers. Then we had the opportunity to visit @PasadenaHumane and were so moved by their lifesaving work to help our animal community. I am so grateful to bring home Zuzu, our new foster (pet- and heart emojis) whose family unfortunately had to give him up after their home destroyed in forest fires.

– Fostering is an important way to help when you can – if you can, please consider giving temporary or permanent homes to animals in need (house and paw print emoticons) From there we pick up essentials and gifts from displaced families we’ve hosted at the @Hilton in Montebello. My heart goes out to them and being able to bring comfort and a smile to their faces is something I will never forget (broken heart emoji).

“We are doing everything we can to support displaced families through my non-profit 11:11 Media Impact. Thanks to the generosity of many, we have already raised over $600,000 in three days (emojis) and our goal is to reach $1 million to provide cash assistance, housing and essential supplies for those suffering.Visit my bio link if you can support.
