Manuel Arjona, fundamental member of the first Locomía, dies at 59

Manuel Arjona, a member of the first group of the Spanish group Locomía, died this Wednesday, as sources close to the artist confirmed to EL PAÍS. Arjona was 59 years old and the cause of death is still unknown. He lived in Viladecans, Barcelona. According to the same sources, “he was painting” during the day and then “he went to bed and did not get up.” Other members of the group died young: in the summer of 2018 and only one month apart, two died locomies, Santos Blanco and Frank Romero, both 46 years old. None of them was as transcendental in the history of the group as Arjona.
