CFA Society Cyprus this week reaffirmed its commitment to promoting professional networking and excellence in the island’s financial community at its first post-summer membership event.

In an official announcement, CFA Society Cyprus stated that the gathering held in honor of the election of the organization’s new board “offered participants the opportunity to talk with fellow members and industry professionals, exchange views on current economic developments and explore future cooperation prospects.”

During the event, CFA Society Cyprus President Nikos Potamaris “expressed his gratitude to all participants and contributors” highlighting the success of the meeting.

In addition, he announced two key initiatives that further demonstrate the association’s commitment to professional development and education in the financial industry.

According to the announcement, the two initiatives include a roundtable discussion titled “Closing the Gender Pension Gap,” scheduled for October 22, 2024, chaired by House Speaker Annita Demetriou.

In addition, the CFA Institute University Research Challenge will be held on October 23, bringing together teams of university students to present their investment proposals in front of a panel of experts.
