The main stage of Tomorrowland suffered an important fire on Wednesday, as announced by the organizers of the famous electronic music festival two days after the inauguration in its tenth ninth edition in Belgium.
The shared videos on social networks and photographs published in the local press show large flares emerging from the left side of the stage and a thick gray smoke in the surrounding area. Emergency services are working, the Local Police confirmed, which has prioritized the safety of festival employees present in the flamenco town of Boom. The police also asked the residents of the area to close doors and windows to avoid smoke poisoning.
The event is scheduled to take place from July 18 to 20 and from July 25 to 27 in Boom, in the province of Antwerp, in the Flanders region.
