Spain is rarely mentioned in sources about Reveil. However, the Spaniard who fled to France two hundred years ago was converted by the preaching of Henri Pyt, a thoroughbred representative of the Franco-Swiss revival movement. Juan Calderón (1791-1854) followed in his footsteps convincingly.
