The new restaurant will pick up where the Langham residency tailed off, and will be permanent operation. Dishes will include: a coco stack slider with Taylor’s Irish-inspired, so-called “proper” chips and maple, lime and chilli glazed plantain; rum and raisin pork belly strips; a modern riff on ackee and saltfish cake, and escovitch wild hake. For mains, diners should expect the likes of short rib brown stew, whole jerk chicken for two and a seafood boil. Puddings will include Taylor’s sweet potato sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean custard or mango sorbet soft serve.
