Elon Musk was first elected a member of the UK National Academy of Sciences in 2018 for his work in the space and electric vehicle industry. But his constant participation in the royal society has become increasingly controversial.
Earlier this year, thousands of researchers signed a letter that raised concerns about his participation in US scientific research in financing cuts as part of his previous role in the Trump Government Efficiency Department.
Society discussed his community in March, but it was decided that he would stay. Some guys said that all attempts to remove him can be considered to be a limitation of freedom of expression.
Sir Adrian Smith wrote directly to Fellows without a musk, Sir Adrian Smith wrote: “I’m sure that many of you will share my concerns at last week’s events and in a growing tendency to resort to the language of violence in political programs – including unfortunately, talk to the recent London demonstration of the royal association.”
He continued that, “Most of us have been fortunate enough to live in situations where the fundamental values of tolerance, courtesy, respect and freedom of expression have been widely recognized and respected and we have taken them for granted.”
“It is no coincidence that man’s understanding and science have also flourished in an exceptional extent during this period. The threats of these values are now real,” he ended.
Sir Adrian’s letter was first reported by the new world.
Musk said on Saturday on Saturday via the video link: “I think there is something beautiful about Britishness and what I see here is the destruction of the UK, originally slow erosion, but a rapidly growing UK erosion with massive uncontrolled migration.
“This is a message to a reasonable center, people who usually do not participate in politics who just want to live their lives.
“They don’t want it, they are quiet, they just do business.
“My message is for them: if this continues that violence comes to you, you have no choice. You are here in a fundamental situation.
“Do you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or die, it’s the truth, I think.”
All the decision to remove Musk would be a significant moment in the history of the organization. It has been 250 years since a member of the Royal Society was removed: German researcher and author Rudolf Erich Raspe, who was accused of theft and fraud.
