This course is aimed at both professionals and amateurs in the field of music and musical theater. It is specially designed to understand the appropriate vocal technique for each type of voice in live performances, as well as to practice analyzing song texts and creating a realistic stage show that adjusts to the vocal needs of each singer, at the same time. time that the desired artistic idea is transmitted through the choice of songs and the concept of the show.
Each session will be accompanied by a live pianist and music teacher, guaranteeing a complete training experience.
Inspired by the “Operación Triunfo” format, this course is ideal for those who want to start singing in front of an audience. It is taught by a team of experts made up of Yashmín Zamani (study coordinator at SOM Escuela de Musicales in Madrid and voice teacher at Timbre4, Madrid), Ángel Velasco (actor and stage director) and Iñaki Simón (pianist and multi-instrumentalist).
As in the television format, the course culminates with a final sample session in which participants have the opportunity to put the techniques learned into practice in front of a live audience.
Yashmin Zamani. Singing teacher
Graduate in Dramatic Art from the ESAD of Castilla y León and with a Master in Theater and Performing Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. He continued his training with prominent professionals such as Tara McAllister, Rafael Navarro and Felipe Forastiere. She is a vocal technique teacher at Estudio Juan Codina and at Timbre4 (Madrid), in addition to teaching singing classes at SOM Academy and in the musical Matilda the Musical. As a musical theater performer, he has participated in notable productions such as: Aladdin (Barceló Productions). Snow White (Candileja Productions). life is dream (Frederic Lachkar). 40 The Musical (Drive Productions).
Angel Velasco. Interpretation Teacher
Actor, director and screenwriter, with a degree in Dramatic Art from the ESAD in Malaga and a Master’s Degree in Film and Television from the TAI School in Madrid. With more than twelve years of experience as a teacher in theater, cinematography and music. As a performer, he has participated in notable television productions such as Toy Boy (Netflix, 2020), All for the game (Movistar+, 2020), 4 Stars (TVE)y Muertos SL (Movistar). In theater, he has worked on the award-winning feature Souvenir (Teatro Cervantes and Feelgood, 2017), The perfect storm (Cervantes Theater, 2019), On the track (Soho CaixaBank Theatre) and Walls (Teatro a Voces, 2018). He is a playwright and director selected in 2023 by the SGAE and Adaptabook for his text Goloscurrently on tour.
Iñaki Simón. Music Teacher and Accompanying Pianist
Graduated in Piano and Horn at the Majadahonda Professional Conservatory of Music, with master classes in jazz with Federico Lechner and in auditory education with Hebe Onesti. Teacher, performer and composer, passionate about music in its various facets, from entertainment and games to communication and therapy. Specialized in Piano and Horn, he is a talented multi-instrumentalist. He has been a teacher of piano, musical language and harmony, and musical director of musicals Who cares y Suffer mamonboth at the Arlequín Theater in Gran Vía (Madrid).
