Timmy’s failure
Timmy’s failure is Pastis’ first book and is based on a popular book Diary of a Loserbook series. Although this book was the beginning of his career, the movie completely missed.
The film follows 11-year-old Timmy Failure. He lives with his mother in Portland and is the boss of his fictional companies: Total Failure Inc and his own detective agency. Together with his imaginary polar bear, he solves the most difficult crimes.
Rotten tomatoes
With a 60% (viewer count) score on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie is definitely not the worst movie on Disney+. Still, the movie is on Rotten Tomatoes “boring and poorly developed” designated.
The film is also often described as easily forgettable in the reviews. The reviewer continues: “Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is simply not very good. The execution of the plot is disappointing, while the ultra-dry nature of the humor wears off quickly.”
