Discreet, elegant and fine sense of humor that was loved in his parsimony, has left today as he lived, without stridency. Marc Lloret has died at the age of 51 victim of a cancer he had suffered for a long time and withdrew from Mishima’s keyboards a few months ago. Always linked to the world of music, he found his moment to be in the ointment of musicians from which Mishima was born, a group in which he recorded the keyboards all his discography.

Serenely and calmly, on stage it was the antithesis of the popular eloquence of pop, efficient and imperturbable appearance that did not waste gestures. His role in the band, without a doubt that of calm person in which to look for balance, made an essential part of it. His own colleagues have thus communicated his death “LEAVE THE SOUL OF MISHIMA, the band that he founded in 1999 with David Carabén and Christian Aloy and from which only the disease has been able to separate …… their piano melodies are a fundamental part of some of some Of the best songs in the history of the recent Pop made in Catalonia. ”

Training journalist, Marc Lloret (Barcelona 1973) always focused his interest towards music in a broad sense. In addition to instrumentalist and singer, he was part of projects such as Ampolio Crus and Orange, leading his own, Blanc Happiness, Lloret also worked simultaneously in the industry with his experience in the record and organizational world.

He was co -director of the Poparb Festival, the contest that covered the Independent Catalan and Peripheral scene with Anna Cerdà, and also co -directed, in this case with Oriol Roca I Maria Lladó, the Music de Music de Vic during 14 editions. Precisely, in the 2024 he left office, with the satisfaction of having given a new air to Mercat renewing the commitment to youth and the new proposals. From today, someone is missing in Catalan pop.
