While this is less than the national average, which sits at 69 per cent, the data for London boroughs shows many parts of the city have significant, untapped potential. Bromley, Richmond-Upon-Thames and Havering all have the highest percentage of spare rooms, at 37 per cent, 35 per cent and 34 per cent respectively. At the other end of the spectrum, Tower Hamlets, The City of London and Newham have the smallest percentage with seven per cent, eight per cent and 13 per cent.
