A total of 118 people from 25 countries are part of the cast and crew on the Alegría – Bajo Una Nueva Luz tour, and are in charge of ensuring that every night the show fills the Big Tent with magic, installed now and until next 30 June in Malaga (Fair Grounds. On the occasion of the show’s 25th anniversary in 2019, Cirque du Soleil premiere Happiness – Under A New Light, a complete reimagining of his acclaimed 1994 production, redesigned to inspire today’s audiences. Through new stage direction, musical arrangements, acrobatics, choreography, costumes, makeup and sets, Happiness – Bajo Una Nueva Luz reinvents the original classic while capturing the emotions, melodies and essence that lie at the heart of its success. With an international cast of 54 acrobats, clowns, musicians and singers, Happiness – Under A New Light is a contemporary revival that contains all the emotion, magic and joy that has made the world fall in love with Cirque du Soleil.

Since April 2019, Happiness – Bajo Una Nueva Luz has performed in Canada, the United States, South Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom and Spain and has been seen by more than 2.5 million viewers.
