I met Verónica rolling Katmandú. She was the heart, the soul of the movie. It was a very hard filming, the hardest I have ever lived, and she raffled him as she could and with a lot of courage. And totally delivered. The experience and she taught me many things. Not only of work, but of life. Verónica had that ability, because of her way of being, of feeling.

In the calm of the assembly, far from the battles and difficulties we live in Nepal, I could enjoy, sometimes totally dazzled, of his work and his person, his light, his sweetness, his generosity. It transmitted it in each sequence. Then we put together the back for a week the impossible task to bend the movie. And he surrendered again to give his best to the character.

Then we have not coincided, but I have seen it grow over the years as an actress, as a person and as director. Recently we had a very beautiful, brief but deep reunion, in one of the cinema parties. That was the last time I talked to her.

He had no idea of his illness. And I am, like everyone else, in shock. Part of the shock It is also because for a few months I imagined that maybe we could return to work together. I imagined it, if she wanted, giving life to the character she was building in my head. He imagined her giving her face, her eyes, her voice, her humor, her intelligence and her humanity. I am not yet able to assume that it is not.

Rest in peace, Vero. We run out of your presence, full of lights, sparks, heat, love and charisma.
