Actor Harris Yulin, who appeared in films such as Scarface, Imminent danger y Training Dayalways in secondary roles, the place from which he made his career of more than 50 years, has died this Tuesday due to cardiac arrest in New York, as his family and his representative announced, Sue Leibman.
Born in Los Angeles in 1937, he never occupied protagonist roles, he was always in the secondary school until he completed a curriculum of more than 100 papers in the cinema and television series such as Frasierthanks to the one who obtained his nomination to the Emmy Awards for his character in Jerome Belasco.
Yulin was Miami’s corrupt detective who tries to extort Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino, in Scarface (1983); It was the national security adviser manipulator that faces Jack Ryan, played by Harrison Ford, in Imminent danger (1994); and the corrupt police officer Rosselli in Training Day (2001), directed by Antoine Fuqua.
His last works were two Netflix series: he played Orson, the father of David Cross’s character in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidtalready Buddy Dieker, an eccentric old man with a criminal past, in Ozark.
