The University of Amsterdam, Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Inholland University of Applied Sciences and ROC Amsterdam are organizing a series of guest lectures, workshops, interviews and activities from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August. Each lecture lasts about 60 minutes, after which a well-stocked refrigerator is ready. See the whole program here.

How the meaning of Pride Amsterdam has evolved between 2017 and 2023, Anna Berbers talk about her research: Pinkwashing and how the media reports on Pride & Queer Amsterdam. In collaboration with UVA Pride. English spoken.

Friday, August 2 (4:30 p.m.): LGBTQ&A

Theater Q&A with a mystery guest. PACT+ Amsterdam students ask their most important questions to a well-known mystery guest. In cooperation with ROC van Amsterdam.

Pride University represents a collaboration between the Pride departments of five Amsterdam educational institutions, which are jointly committed to a versatile, inclusive and safe environment for everyone in education. On Saturday, August 3, the authorities will once again sail as a collective during the canal parade.

All students, colleagues and other curious people are invited to The Social Hub to attend this quirky lecture series for free. The Social Hub is Pride Amsterdam’s headquarters, and there’s plenty more to experience. Book your tickets quickly, because full = full!
