Family Musical Experience. With ELCAMM Family

One-day workshop: May 4 or June 1 | Two groups according to age

• Children from 0 to 3 years: From 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
• Children from 3 to 6 years old: From 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

ELCAMMCenter for Modern Arts and Music of Malaga, organizes two workshops to enjoy the family music.

*Duration of the workshops: 45 minutes.

Workshop 1: Family musical experience. From 0 to 3 years (From 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.) – Workshop in an indoor space

Aimed at bringing music to boys and girls between 0 and 3 years old. Sound-musical exploration will be worked on through games and songs.

Each participant must be accompanied by a family member.

The active practice of musical activities will be based on the following pillars: melody, audition, rhythm and improvisation. Thus, students will be provided with patterns that will help them understand music and develop their own musical language.

Starting musical activity at an early age allows you to make the most of the child’s abilities, encompassing the acquisition of musical knowledge in a more global way.

Goals

• Bring music closer to the family through sound-musical practice.
• Promote family activities by stimulating an emotional-social bond between group members.
• Facilitate expression with the use of musical elements, promoting enjoyment of music.

Workshop 2: Family musical experience. From 3 to 6 years (From 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.) – Workshop in an indoor space

Through listening, singing, body and instrumental expression activities, the child will get closer to musical elements in a motivating and playful environment.

Each participant must be accompanied by a family member.

Musical practice favors the development of cognitive, physical, social and emotional aspects. Concentration, attention, memory, psychomotor skills, diction, intonation, affectivity, interpersonal relationships and self-esteem are some of the aspects that will be addressed.

Based on the interests and needs of each of the participants, the sessions will be presented in a totally practical way with the game as the driving force.

Goals

• Promote rhythmic and auditory development through the internalization of songs, the stimulation of memory and body work.
• Stimulate imagination and creativity with vocal, instrumental and body expression activities.
• Facilitate the expression of feelings and emotions through the use of musical elements, promoting communication and interpersonal relationships.

Paula Lopez She is a graduate in Primary Education and an expert in psychopedagogy in emotional intelligence. She expands her knowledge in music education through music at the Center for Arts and Modern Music of Malaga (ELCAMM), specializing in the first stage (0 – 6 years). She works as a teacher in different bilingual educational centers in Malaga. In addition, she participates in various environmental education and functional diversity projects for children in early childhood and primary school.
