The British Royal Association has announced the meeting to discuss the guidelines on how its comrades should behave and make public statements.
This decision takes place after thousands of researchers raised worry that Elon Musk remained a member of the Academy, such as Reuters.
Founded in 1660, the Royal Association is the world’s oldest national scientific Academy.
Over the years, its members were many famous researchers, including Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.
Muskki was elected a member of the Royal Society in 2018 due to his achievement in space travel and electric vehicles.
However, according to reports, more than 2000 researchers have signed an open letter written by structural biologist Stephen Curry and expressed his disappointment at the Royal Society that he has not taken actions on Musk’s continuous membership.
Researchers argue that Musk’s activities, such as support theories, are contrary to the Royal Society’s Code of Conduct.
The letter includes: “The situation will be made more serious because Mr Musk is now in the Trump administration in the United States (Donald), which has been an attack on scientific research in recent weeks.”
According to reports, the Royal Association has invited a meeting next month, in which its scholarship can vote to expel muscle.
However, the spokesman of the Royal Society did not confirm the vote, but stated that the meeting focused on discussing its scholarship public statement and behavior.
