We are speechless by everyone’s efforts and the huge total,” said Nicolette Slot, president of the Walking Against Cancer Foundation. “We are very grateful for the support of all the participants, volunteers and sponsors. The place of the festival

At the festival site, the sports fields of FC Drunen and HV Avanti had lively activities: performances, food trucks and refreshing drinks. “Laan der Bezinning was once again an impressive part of the route, where the walkers had a moment to reflect on their own experiences and the fight against cancer.”

It was a special day on my 44th birthday. Unfortunately, I myself have metastatic breast cancer in the palliative stage, so I know how important donations are to Pink Ribbon. Many congratulations on your beautiful walking festival, I enjoyed it together with my best friends from Pink Power.”

There is no shortage of volunteers

Nicolette emphasized the importance of volunteers for the success of the event: “We are one of the few organizations that does not have a shortage of volunteers. Without their efforts, this day would not have been possible. Thank you to all our volunteers for their important contribution.”

He also thanks the main sponsor, the Software Society, and all the other sponsors who made this event possible. “Thanks to their support, we can continue the fight against breast cancer. The collection campaigns with our pink piggy banks, the pink piggy banks, were also very successful. Numerous participants have tried to raise additional funds.
