Creative expression workshop through collage. With Carolina Arán and Emmanuel Lafont

Do you want to develop your creativity, but are you tired of the usual crafts? Would you like to explore your imagination and express yourself in a safe environment? Do you want to immerse yourself in an artistic activity but you don’t have any experience?

In these creative expression workshops through collagetaught by visual creators and sociocultural facilitators, Emmanuel Lafont and Carolina Arán, participants will begin the artistic process in a relaxed environment, in which they will acquire techniques and resources to develop their full potential.

Collage is art and therapy, it is fun and self-knowledge, imagination and personal development. Come relax, learn and play in this wonderful world of paper!

What will you learn? To delve into artistic creation through the collage technique and its infinite possibilities through which you will disconnect and discover your creative abilities. To do this, both the technical aspects and the game of expression, inventiveness and listening to your inner voice will be worked on.

Who can attend the workshops? Any adult interested in artistic activities. No prior experience or training is required.

Do I have to bring materials? The organizers will provide attendees with the basic tools necessary to get started.

As the cycle progresses, participants will be able to recycle and collect their own clippings as part of the learning and, on occasion, they will be asked to bring some extra material following the instructors’ recommendations, but to boot, nothing is required! just eager to learn and enjoy!

Emmanuel Lafont (@emmanuellafont) y Carolina Aran (@mothermagic) are two visual creators and sociocultural promoters residing in Malaga. In 2021 both undertake a common project, aimed at training, raising awareness and artistic dissemination through the collage technique. That year they carried out their first cycle of 30 workshops together with great success, in collaboration with the Malaga Provincial Council, and within the framework of the activities programmed for the “Senior Month” in different towns in the province of Malaga.
