Do you want to develop your creativity, but are you tired of the same old crafts? Would you like to explore your imagination and express yourself in a safe environment? Do you want to immerse yourself in an artistic activity but have no prior experience?
In these workshops, taught by visual creators and sociocultural promoters Emmanuel Lafont and Carolina Arán, you will begin the artistic process in a relaxed environment, acquiring techniques and resources to develop your full creative potential.
Collage is art and therapy, fun and self-knowledge, imagination and personal development.
What will you learn?
Delve into artistic creation through the collage technique and its infinite possibilities. You will discover your creative abilities while disconnecting from everyday stress. We will work on both technical aspects and the game of expression, inventiveness and the connection with your inner voice.
Who can attend?
Any adult interested in artistic activities. You don’t need previous experience or training.
Do I have to bring materials?
The organizers will provide you with the basic tools needed to get started. As the cycle progresses, you will learn to recycle and collect your own scraps as part of the creative process. On specific occasions, attendees will be asked to bring additional materials based on instructor recommendations.
You just need the desire to learn and enjoy!
Emmanuel Lafont (@emmanuellafont) y Carolina Aran (@mothermagic) are two visual creators and sociocultural promoters residing in Malaga. In 2021 both undertake a common project, aimed at training, raising awareness and artistic dissemination through the collage technique. That year they developed together with great success their first cycle of 30 workshops, in collaboration with the Malaga Provincial Council, and within the framework of the activities programmed for the “Senior Month” in different towns in the province of Malaga.
