#The Thermal Chess the activity proposes us Play like a grandmaster, from the hand of Eduardo Iturrizaga, current Spanish chess champion.

Born in Caracas in 1989, Iturrizaga has been number one in Venezuela and national champion up to four times. In the 2006 Chess Olympics held in Turin, at only 26 years old, he achieved the individual bronze medal as second board. In 2021, he changed flag and became one of the best Spanish chess players of the moment.

Iturrizaga has checkmated a good batch of elite players, including Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja, Aronian, Caruana and Nakamura, among others. Itu’s style is universal, allowing him to play from a tactical or positional approach, depending on what the position requires.

The cycle programming includes the following activities:
