Beatrix Potter Association’s tribute to Dame Patricia Routledge

A society dedicated to one of the most beloved characters in Cumbria, Beatrix Potter, made the gesture last week a beloved guard – actor and singer Routledge at the age of 96.

He was a patron of a famous society who had been founded for more than 40 years since 2006 until his death.

Tony-award-winning actress died on Friday, October 3.

Routledge is best known for playing Hyacinth bucket in BBC -Toc Stay on performancesLike his many stages, both in West End and Broadway – even working with Leonard Bernstein in 1976.

His Beatrix Potter Association’s customer relationship and his description of a famous writer, illustrator and conservationist on stage – as well as his writings and presentation of Potter’s four documentary films in 2016 – is also a significant part of his long life.

The Beatrix Potter Association said: “Dame Patricia Routledge was a protector of the Beatrix Potter Association for almost twenty years, and we are sad past him.

“She was a significant woman, and her customer relationship reflected her deep admiration for the work of Beatrix Potter and her commitment to maintain her legacy.

“Society is grateful for its generosity and unholy support he gave as a patron, and our thoughts are with his family and friends at the moment.”

Patricia died “calmly asleep this morning surrounded by love”.

The actress was first recognized for her career achievements at OBE in 1993, which was followed by CBE in 2004, and eventually was rewarded with her lounge in 2017.
