Sunday in the Park with George is a musical about a fictional version of Seurat attempting to finish his now-iconic painting in a Parisian park, alongside his long-time mistress, muse and model Dot. With music by Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, it won the 1985 Pulitzer Prize for Drama alongside a clutch of Tony and and Olivier Awards.
