In addition, over the past year Action Against Hunger UK has raised more than £1 million in partnership with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) through emergency appeals supporting communities in Gaza, Lebanon, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan and Ukraine. Notable contributions included £700,000 from the Middle East Humanitarian Appeal and over £115,000 from the Myanmar Earthquake Appeal.
