There are books whose content exceeds what is stated in their title. The expanded reissue of Equilibrist. Cecilia’s life (Efe Eme) updates what was suggested in its first appearance, through the Ocho y Medio bookstore. And it reminds us in passing of the backdrop: the polarized musical environment in Spain in the early seventies, radicalized between rock practitioners—a troupe so sullen that they tended to make instrumental music or sung in English—and the mainstream of national pop, dominated by melodic and the songs-of-summer.
