Going beyond the limits of photography, which does not have to be just an image, but, like all art, mutates, to the point that taking a snapshot is the path, the basis, to reach another form of artistic manifestation. It is the theory with which the thesis exhibition of this 29th edition of the PHotoEspaña festival was presented yesterday, Friday, at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, in Madrid. It is a collective exhibition that brings together works by 13 artists (10 Spanish, two Dutch and one Swiss) who “question the vision of issues such as identity, authority, memory and territory,” stressed one of the two curators, the Peruvian Geaninne Gutiérrez-Guimarães.
