Now that Davina McCall has reportedly tied the knot with her long-term partner Michael Douglas, they can hopefully settle down in domestic bliss in the incredible home the presenter designed and built for her family in Kent.
McCall, 58, set about the dream home project alongside her three children, Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Chester, 19, five years ago, and is understood to have been living there since late 2021.
“I’m building a house!” she told Woman & Home in 2020.
“My kids and I have been renting and we were trying to find a plot of land. So we’re doing it together.
“This year is going to be super stressful, but really fun,” McCall told the magazine ahead of the building project.
“It’s the next phase of our lives – a house that we’ve all built and everyone gets to choose how they want their bedrooms.

“We’re unbelievably lucky. It was tough for the kids when we sold our house after Matthew and I split up, so it’s nice to say, ‘fresh house, fresh start’.”
While McCall has kept details of the house she built fairly private, she often films inside it for her social media showing plenty of glimpses as she goes.
The decor throughout the house is minimalist and peaceful, with neutral colours like greys, creams and white taking centre-stage.
In an interview she gave with But after having one of the stylish ovens installed in her kitchen in 2022, she said she was still knee-deep in builders and had just two rooms finished.
“The kitchen is the heart of the home,’ she says. “I can’t live without a kitchen. I have a kitchen and a bedroom. It’s all you need.”

She chose a pale grey for her kitchen cabinets, and a darker greyish blue for the central island, with brass handles and wood floors.
The project for the house, which was reported to be worth £3.4m in 2023, was put in motion after McCall and her ex-husband Matthew Robertson divorced in 2017.
The couple had paid £3.2 million for the former medieval nunnery in 2009.
McCall’s former Grade-II listen mansion
The oldest parts of the house date back to the 17th century, though its grey stone facade was an 18th-century addition.
The house had 38 acres of private parkland as well as a swimming pool, tennis court, and formal gardens complete with water features and topiary.
It also had six bedrooms – not counting the additional eight in the barn, the cottage, the coach house and the lodge.
West London, Surrey, St Tropez
Previously, McCall had also reportedly divided her time between a £1million home in Woldingham, Surrey, and a £1.5 million villa in St Tropez, France.
McCall’s first London home was also in west London, after she moved to Shepherd’s Bush with her mother at the age of 13.
Inside McCall’s former family home
The former Big Brother presenter, who is now a judge on ITV’s The Masked Singerhas lived many lives, including as a singer, a Moulin Rouge-style cabaret performer in Paris, a dancer in a Kylie Minogue video, and a UK TV staple for 30 years.
She also dated rocker Eric Clapton for a time in her 20s, and says he supported her through addiction and helped her to become a “stronger person”.
She has credited hairstylist Douglas with being a great support to her in recent years following several serious health struggles.
McCall had brain surgery last year to remove a rare, benign tumour. Last month, she announced she had breast cancer and had had a lump removed, urging others to “get checked”.
The pair were married with just a handful of family and friends in attendance on December 5, after becoming engaged just three months ago during a trip to Ibiza.
