Committed to active social contribution, Lidl Cyprus announces the launch of its Christmas campaign in support of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society and the Arodafnoussa Palliative Care Centre.
This year, from 5 to 21 December 2025, Lidl Cyprus offers €0.30 for every Lidl Plus card scan at the cash registers of its stores, as a continuation of the successful cooperation of the past years. The amount will be allocated to support the food program of the Arodafnoussa center and its room adoption program.
The Arodafnoussa center is the first and only one of its kind in Cyprus that offers comprehensive in-hospital palliative care services for cancer patients.
Lidl Cyprus’ support is vital as it contributes to:
- Full coverage of the rooming program by financing the cost of using two rooms in Arodafnoussa for a whole year
- Full support for the center’s food program
- Covering the cost of using a specially designed visitor relaxation area
This measure is added to the many actions and activities that Lidl Cyprus has carried out for more than 12 years in support of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, totaling more than 1.2 million euros. In addition to financial support, the company makes numerous product donations throughout the year as well as various support activities.
This measure is carried out as part of Lidl’s international Christmas campaign “Why everything beautiful is worth every day”, reinforcing the message that the most important values and actions are not limited to one moment, but are important every day.
