For centuries, the Freemasons have been obscured by the obligation of professional secrecy, burning speculation about shady handshakes, curved rituals and hidden effects at the highest level of force.
But one of the oldest Freemasons in the UK has now rejected long-running rumors, claiming that there is nothing “gloomy” in the brotherhood.
Adrian Marsh, a great secretary of the United Grand Lodge series, claims that his organization secretly dominates society, nothing but a “massive misunderstanding”.
The comments come after the Helsinki Metropolitan Area police confirmed that they are considering a new policy that may force serving officials to announce whether they are Freemasonry.

But Mr Marsh warned that forcing people to reveal their association to the group would be their basic freedom.

“There is a common misunderstanding and it gets sensation,” he told The Telegraph. “People just want to continue how we somehow have the ability to control society.”
He added, ‘We are dominated by freedom of expression, freedom of participation, and therefore a mandatory blanket to get people to reveal something, don’t feel the British, it does not seem right. The most important thing is that, of course, anyone reveals the connection (Freemasons), where it is important for their role. “
Mr Marsh, who joined the organization in 1989, said that there are currently 170,000 members in the United Kingdom, but little in the police. He himself started with a historically strong Man Lodge No. 45 in London.
A former FTSE 100 leader said he encouraged greater transparency, but strongly rejected the idea that the Freemason was a hidden network that pulled power languages.
‘The reality is that there is no secret. It really isn’t, ”he said.
The Mason has about six million members worldwide and counts Winston Churchill, Arthur Conan Doyle and Oscar Wilde among its most famous previous initiatives.
The movement, one of the largest charity donors in the UK, requires its basic principles that are still “honest, friendship, respect and service.”
