Crickheath Bridge (Bridge 85) The current “Crickheath South” project in the Schoolhouse Bridge (Bridge 86) was originally designed for step 1A, step 1b (both was delivered from the Crickheath compound and now finished) and Phase 2 (from the compound of the bridge to be delivered). As we also supply part of the bridge to 86 bridges 87 – known locally as the Malthouse Bridge new compound, this section is now referred to in stage 3. Steps 2 and 3 are presented in the map below.

During this work celebration, we also worked in the Wooded Waen Wen area – which extends from bridge 85 to where Penygarreg Lane turns from the channel to Pant. Where we worked this time, we showed a dark orange map.

Bridge 85 bridge 86 is ½ miles, the bridge 86 bridge 87 is 1/5 miles and the Waen Wen area is ¼ miles. All of these sections are part of the Shropshire hole, two non -repaired channels in Shropshire to the previously restored part of Llanymynch.

On Thursday, a variety of housekeeping jobs were carried out to dismantle and organize objects after the last work party. Among these, the composition of the “new” welfare protection was the most significant. What had originally started as a repair of a few previous shelters changed virtually complete rebuilding in increased dimensions. The work continued on Friday, but on Saturday morning, the work was ready and meant cutting the honorary guest Thelma tape. Over the weekend, the compound was established for the Water Supply Schoolhouse Bridge Cottage (thanks to Chris and Julie) and a few remaining objects were moved from the old compound in the new Tim trailer (thanks to Tim).

Friday started a visit to an ecologist early in the morning to confirm that all Badger licensing conditions had been met – and we could continue to delete the remaining settings on phase 2 channels. This was completed on Friday for lunch. During the rest of the work, stage 2 achieved tremendous progress in the removal of vegetation and small trees, which, with the last time, could now burn the recent rainfall, which reduced the risk of fire.

By Sunday afternoon, all materials produced had been destroyed with the large strains of the previous work, and the stripes of the place were completed 240 meters from 270 meters 2 areas. It is now confirmed step 2 lined and blocked. The profiling of the channel is ready for this next month.

Although the design of the Waen Wen Wen area, especially a pool with a winding hole and attachment, is still much in the future. This part of the channel is heavily wooded and in places that are almost impermeable with undergrowth. The studies and studies needed to report the design are required to have some clearance and 130 meters of the channel was cleaned of undergrowth and small trees. Despite the recent wet weather, Friday and Saturday were sunny breeze and the neighboring farmer asked that we had no campfire due to the remaining risk of fire. Instead, we continued to clean and collected a large amount of material on the campfire site. It is often not that we are grateful for the wet weather, but on Sunday morning we were developing smooth light rain, which allows us to create a remarkable campfire and destroy all the day by the end of the day.

As ever, the huge thanks are the result of all helpful ones.
