Only two bulls came from the iron of St. Pelayo, but the six went out to the ring of Las Ventas with the Holiness Vinela; Blessed animals born for an extraordinary exhibition of infinite goodness, generous collaborators for the show of horses and gentlemen with the minimum risk.

This has been the bulls of El Capea, bonancible, noble, of very temperate onslaught, with which the three rejoneadores have been able to train before a festive audience, nothing demanding and willing to the fun in the face of the minimum ornament of any of the actors.

Of course, these bulls, saints for brave eternity, lack sufficient nerve that generates emotion, so that the celebration was more or less lucid and friendly, but lacking the passion inherent in bullfighting.

But this is not new. For years the rejoneo opted for several livestock that breed with careful animals that do not bother and collaborate at the triumph with too much demand.

Because the holiness of bulls reduced the risk, but did not facilitate the expected triumphalism. None of the three ears were deserved, which means that the performance of the cartel members did not reach the level of quality required to walk a deserved trophy in Madrid, but the insistence of the scarves and the generosity of the box gave a cartoon of luster to a flat afternoon.
