Singer Raphael (Linares, 81 years old) will return to the stage with his new tour, Raphaelísimo. He will do it after a stop of several months, after being treated on December 17 after suffering a stroke during the recording of an interview in the ‘La Revuelta’ program of the Spanish television 1. “I remember a lot about the clash that I had because I wanted to say one thing, but said another. I understood what they were telling me, but, when translating it into words, I came out what I know … Then I did not own the situation. It is a fatal sensation,” he said in an interview in the public chain.

The medical part said that Raphael had a “primary cerebral lymphoma with two cerebral nodules in the left hemisphere that justify the neurological symptoms that she presented days ago.” It is a type of cancer that affects the main organ of the central nervous system. Four months later, the artist is recovered to return to the stage. He has rehearsed so far in a study – “A mini concert, well, not so mini, singing two hours and peak” – together with one of his musicians and in front of his children. “I needed to try me,” he said.

“I do not want to end up ugly. You have to finish as it started and as I continue, in the arms of the people until they want and my throat is in their place,” he added about his return to the stage in the interview with the journalist Carlos del Amor. “I will never leave, I will leave the day I have to go by noses,” he said, after insisting that he takes care of his health.

Raphael has said that he is now “good” and that “he was afraid, but very measured.” Faced with other health scares -he was 23 years old, he received a liver transplant -“this has been the most hit because I was not projected or was something that I saw coming,” he said. “When my transplant was months and one is mentalizing. I did not realize. I noticed something strange, but I never thought it was such a serious thing,” he added.

The interpreter of immortal themes, such as I am thatplans to tour Spain on a tour from June 15 to December 20. Accompanied by his band, he will perform the great hymns of his career with the songs of Yesterday … stillhis last album, a tribute to the French song published last November. The tour will begin at the Roman Theater in Mérida (Badajoz).
