Do you want to learn to dance Swing? In Málaga Swing we teach you to dance Lindy Hopa dance style from the swing music family that reached its greatest popularity during the 1930s and 1940s in the United States. This style is characterized by being rhythmic, dynamic and, above all, very fun.
Duration and programming:
The course has a quarterly duration, divided into monthly workshops, with monthly fees adjusted to this structure.
Who is it addressed to?
The classes are designed for people over 18 years of age, both for those who want to get started in the world of swing and for those who have been practicing for a short time. You do not need previous experience or knowledge of other dance styles. Although extraordinary physical condition is not essential, it is recommended to be in shape to fully enjoy Lindy Hop.
Course details:
- Couple registration: It is not mandatory to register with a partner.
- Roles in the dance:
In Lindy Hop there are two roles: leader (who takes the initiative in the steps) and follower. Although these roles have traditionally been assigned by gender, at Málaga Swing we promote an inclusive approach. Anyone can learn and enjoy both roles, expanding the possibilities of interaction and enjoyment.

Taught by Málaga Swing. Local group of dancers whose training includes teachers Ana and Miguel, who since November 2014 have been promoting the swing scene in Malaga. Through its inclusive methodology it allows all people to enjoy this dance and thus become another cultural alternative in Malaga.
