La Térmica will celebrate its third RED Friday of the year on July 5, one of the most consolidated and emblematic events of the contemporary culture center of the Provincial Council of Málaga. In this new stage, the format takes a turn towards a meeting of living arts, with more music, theater, dance and performance, with design and fashion in a dynamic and diverse program of six uninterrupted hours.

The objective is to propose an immersive art experience. Likewise, we must highlight the solidarity nature of this new stage, so the tickets will go to five NGOs: the association in defense of care for anorexia nervosa and bulimia Adaner, the association for the inclusion of people with Down, Down Málaga, AVOI, the childhood cancer volunteer association, the Galgos en Familia animal shelter and the Málaga cultural association Irreconciliables.

18:00 – Doors opening.

18:00 – 22:00 / RED Fashion – Sala 002

The RED FASHION Capsule is a project in collaboration with Fashion Malaga designed to show the creation and experimentation of Malaga talents in this sector. The RED FASHION capsule is presented as an extrasensory immersion that explores the connection between fashion, art and the contemporary through creativity.

The creations of the following designers will be shown: Ana Lanas, Nakerando Kalé, Kimonada, Inma de la Riva, Marinetto Designs, Firenze Team and Julieta Brand. We will have the artist Aintzane Cruceta who, through Pop Surrealism, creates works in which she mixes the sweet and the disturbing with the atmosphere of the dream world. She will exhibit a representation of her works and perform a live performance to the delight of everyone.

The customization of the looks will be carried out through a textile customization corner in which attendees will be offered the opportunity to personalize their clothing and shoes. Artist DEI will be present to customize clothing live, including jeans and converse sneakers. DJ Foreverness will perform live, creating a magical and special atmosphere. As a final touch, the capsule offers an unforgettable souvenir, a photograph with a Cover of RED FASHION magazine, attendees will be able to take a photograph inside the cover and take a souvenir photograph.

19:00 – 19:30 / Performance Dysmetropsia. La Chachi, Cristina Savage and Julia España.

Dismetropsia is an atmospheric, sound and light space created specifically for the La Térmica garden, where we can enjoy a sound installation that combines the singing of birds in the area with electronic music, and the sound of bodies. Cristina Savage and La Chachi will create a series of actions where the body vibrates with the singing of birds, and where the sound designed by Juliana España Keller will be amplified to embrace this space.

During our performance, we hope to focus on and develop an understanding of the internal structure of the body in relation to plant life and the complex interaction between all systems (nervous, vascular, digestive, endocrine, emotional and psychological) of the body/mind relationship. This research with electronic sound and body performance will be developed with the desire to find a performative language in relation to the language of bioacoustics.

20:00 – 20:30 / Performance Pstill hungry for today and hungry for tomorrow Sara Gema and Mauel Cañá.

The performance consists of a procession in which two thrones will be carried on which the artists will be placed. The topics to be discussed will be gentrification and real estate speculation, as well as unemployment in the Malaga region. We will address these issues from a humorous perspective. The duration of the performance will be between thirty and forty minutes. More than a simple performance, it could be considered a happening, since it requires the active collaboration of the public to be carried out.

20:00 – 21:00 / Expensive Raro Music / Patio del Tiempo Stage

Enrique Agüera, singer and composer of Papaya Club (a group with which they became finalists in the emerging contest), begins his new project Caro Raro. This project begins at the end of 2022 with the release of the first single “Cora de papel”. In this new stage he reveals to us his facet as a producer and reveals a much more direct side, thus expressing a clear vocation to communicate with others and convey simple ideas with which anyone can identify.

20:30 – 21:30 / Mar Louise Music / Cervezas Victoria Stage.

Mar Louise is an independent pop project led by Mar Rubio (vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, composer and producer). When it started in 2022, its first songs followed the bedroom pop aesthetic with pounding drum machines and sounds. lo-fi. Currently, he is in a style change towards the organic, getting closer to dream pop: basses with groove, an airy voice and an ethereal and intimate atmosphere. This new direction is very well reflected in his latest single. All My Plants Are Dead.

21:00 – 21:30 / Performance Dysmetropsia. La Chachi, Cristina Savage and Julia España.

21:00 – 22:00 / Music María de Juan.

María de Juan is a prodigious singer whose vocal talent is amazing. A pure and neat voice with a multitude of nuances that takes viewers to distant worlds live. If it had to be classified into one of the thousands of musical genres that already exist, there would not be enough labels for it. It is neither indie, nor pop, nor copla, nor urban: María de Juan is everyone and no gender at the same time. Due to his own nature and identity, it is impossible for him to be an artist of one genre since it is his voice, his drive and his scenic power that identifies him. She sings from her heart from a sensitivity, vulnerability and connection with herself that she extrapolates to the audience. An infinite artist who offers an extreme sensory experience that will take place on Red Friday, the most charismatic event of the Térmica.

21:30 – 22:30 / Maika Makovski Music / Cervezas Victoria Stage.

Many things have already been said about Maika Makovski, and many more will be said. More lives than a cat, Maika is a musician, actress, visual artist and composer. At just 20 years old she debuted with ‘Kradiaw’ (2005) which led her to play with artists such as Howe Gelb, The Dubliners and The Jayhawks and which followed her with ‘Kraj So Koferot’ (2007). Later, John Parish himself (not only an accomplice of PJ Harvey, but also of Eels and Tracy Chapman) produced this all-rounder by offering us “MaikaMakovski” (2010). Album praised by critics that led him to headline covers such as Ruta 66 that same year. It is not surprising then that Makovskise has traveled half the world playing in South America, the United States and practically all of Europe.

22:00 – 23:55 / 8kitoo dj set / Patio del Tiempo Stage.

Pablo Ramirez (Granada, 1998) is the IRL entity behind the alias 8kitoo (pronounced cho-ki-too), one of the dancing minds of the new national clubbing. He is a DJ and co-founder of the Mareo platform with Chico Blanco and acidheaven. He acts as executive producer, curator of releases and parties, as well as host of Mareo Radio. He breaks out as a DJ in 2018 after a string of parties that convulsed his city. This series of parties would end up becoming MAREO, with its birth in the Granada Ground Floor room. His formula of bringing the urban to the club and exploiting it in a multitude of styles has led them to link up with the scenes of other intra- and extra-peninsular cities. From his residences in Human de Razzmatazz (Barcelona), the Watergate in Berlin, to his monthly parties in Madrid or the Industrial Copera in Granada.

22:00 – 23:55 / Dennis More dj set / Patio del Tiempo Stage.
