The Dutch Bioscience Week started on Saturday at the Leids Kennisfestival in Hooglandse Kerk. How to live long and happily in Leiden was the central theme of the afternoon organized by the Leiden Healthy Society Center.

Several dozen departments were set up in the church, where attention was paid to health and well-being. There was a program of mini-lectures on stage. Including Erik Scherder. The professor of neuropsychology is known for many television appearances and the Ommetje app. He knows all about the brain and how lifestyle can affect the brain.

During the Dutch Life Sciences Week, which lasts until next Saturday, there are all kinds of meetings and activities in the field of Life Sciences & Health. The week ends with an open day at the Leiden Bio Science Park.
