BRONKHORST/DREMPT – This year, the well-known artist trio Simone Visser, Dick van Heerde and Liesbeth Pieterse are again on display in the Bronkhorst chapel. Their work can be seen from Saturday, May 18 to Friday, May 24, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. A good opportunity to talk with the artists themselves (also by agreement) and also the opportunity to buy some of their works.

Dick van Heerde (1954, Venlo) is internationally known in WildlifeArt genres, member of The Society of Animal Arts (America). Dick van Heerde started as a restorer of paintings from the 18th century and then began as a professional painter, mainly of African wildlife. Dutch IJssel landscapes, horse paintings and other animals are also part of his production. Van Heerde worked for HRH Sultan Quaboos of Oman and produced over forty paintings of Omani fauna.

This time, the draftsman and painter Simone Visser (1962, Hattem) presents flower arrangements and landscapes, but also a combination of (flower) arrangements in the landscape. In addition to larger works, there are also small watercolors and gouaches on display. The visual artist completed vocational training at the Academy of Classical Fine Arts in 2017. He is a draftsman and painter, smooth sketches and detailed scenes in both drawing and painting. Simone prefers natural things like bark, fruit and flowers. He also draws and paints portraits and can regularly be found out in the landscape drawing or painting from observations.

Liesbeth Pieterse (1958, Arnhem) is an independent visual artist and multidisciplinary in her work. He completed vocational training as a creative work therapist in the 1980s and worked as an art work instructor in mental health care. He also followed (studio) studies through vocational teachers. His 2D work is expressed in painting, illustration, etching, air-brush, graffiti, iPhone art. Liesbeth also guides outside artists professionally; autistic young people. He considers handwork important in his work and will soon start his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk. His works will soon be available again at Galerie ArtFusion in Amsterdam and at his own Atelier and Gallery in Drempt.

Simone and Liesbeth are present in the chapel every day.
