On the occasion of the residency of the piece “The Work of the Sea”, I was asked to share a workshop in order to reflect on the moment of creation and search in which I find myself.

The meeting I propose is to turn around what one already knows: to speak with the body, to dance with the voice. To occupy public and private spaces, inhabiting them from my observer, creator and wanderer self.

Ask yourself: What am I doing really well? and combine it with: What have I not done in my life? Staging as a scrutiny of misfortunes and celebration. A day that is presented as a journey to different cardinal points. Contemplation as a revolution and reaching the sea as the most modern spectacle that exists. Mixing our diamonds, setting up a jewelry store. This is where it shines.

It is aimed at anyone who is involved in the performing arts in some aspect of their life, from amateur to professional. The workshop will be itinerant, therefore, it will start at La Térmica but will not end there, although it will end around it. It includes a learned text of ten lines; it can be a monologue, a poem, a press release, or an anecdote converted into a theatrical text.

As for the lunch break, bring your own lunch box so that you can spend that time on a social culinary event and not on a desperate search for a menu for twenty people. Bring comfortable clothes, water, a mobile phone with a battery and a bathing suit.
