Good support solves people problems. Great support prevents them.

Thrive Law isn’t just a law firm; we’re the people partner of choice for a range of employers across Yorkshire and nationally.

We provide expert, lawyer-led employment law, outsourced HR and employment law support, consultancy, and training services, underpinned by the lived experience of our lawyers.

We put mental health and wellbeing, ED&I, and neurodiversity at the forefront of everything we do, because our lawyers understand the importance of creating psychologically safe spaces where everyone can be their best and truest selves.

As a result, we are recognised by The Law Society, the SRA, and ACAS for our progressive values and positive action.

Launched in 2018, we provide advice on the full range of employment law issues to employees and employers, including:

  • MONEY;
  • Whistleblowing;
  • Consultancy agreements;
  • Unfair dismissal and constructive unfair dismissal;
  • Discrimination;
  • Settlement agreements;
  • Contracts of employment; and
  • Employment Tribunals.

As a provider of outsourced HR and employment law support to employers, we deliver a personalised, ongoing support service and are always on-hand to offer advice. Our services include:

  • Preparing bespoke correspondence and forms;
  • Reviewing employment contracts and handbooks;
  • Providing employment law and knowledge updates;
  • Organising and delivering seminars and webinars;
  • Reporting to and liaising with insurers;
  • Overseeing pre-employment claim negotiations between the relevant parties;
  • Advising on redundancy programmes; and
  • Carrying out stress risk assessments.

With our focus on ED&I, mental health, wellbeing, and neurodiversity, we serve as a close strategic consultant and assist with identifying objectives, achieving leadership and staff engagement, planning, execution, and measurement, all with the aim of enabling progressive organisations to creative a positive environment where people can prosper.

Central to this work are our training courses and coaching for leaders, managers, and their teams. From mental health and neurodiversity in the workplace to discrimination, unconscious bias, and difficult conversations, we strive to unlock potential, boost performance, and enable everyone to be their best and truest selves at work.

We are the recipient of several awards and accolades, including Employment Law at the Yorkshire Legal Awards (2023, 2022 and 2021). We are also shortlisted for Employee Wellness Initiative of the Year at the British HR Awards 2024.

“Thrive delivered in our initial meetings with us, showing us we didn’t have to stick with what we had in the past and were a breath of fresh air in their approach and understanding of our needs. I would highly recommend for any short- or long-term support needs.” Stephanie Clegg, Arla Foods
