The tender was started for the Dutch pavilion at the Expo 2025 exhibition in Osaka | News

The tender for the operation of the Dutch Pavilion at the Expo 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan has started. This tender offers companies operating in the sector hospitality– in Instituteindustry the opportunity to present itself on the international stage. We are looking for a consortium that will take care of catering services, hospitalitypersonnel, operational and event management, security, cleaning and managing the Dutch Pavilion gift shop.

Expo 2025 Osaka will take place from 13 April to 13 October 2025 in Japan. The organization expects to receive approximately 28 million business and private visitors, of which approximately 90% will come from Japan. More than 160 countries and organizations are involved. The theme of this edition is “We plan the society of the future for our lives‘ and will be about shaping the world, where major crises surrounding, for example, climate and health affect the quality of life.

The theme of the Dutch participation is “Common ground: creating a new morning together‘ and wants to show visitors Dutch innovative solutions in the field of energy transition, among other things. During Expo 2025, the Netherlands wants to offer companies, knowledge institutes and (cultural) organizations a meeting place in a pavilion that combines different perspectives and expertise and thus leads to joint solutions to global challenges. In addition to the visitor experience, the pavilion has an event space, a shop and a cafe. The design was done by Arkitehtitoimisto RAU, design office DGMR, experience design studio Tellart and Japanese construction company Asanuma.
