In the digital age, where individual screens have accustomed us to consuming content in isolation, FILMIN, LA TÉRMICA and KANDALE FILMS want to offer the opportunity to recover the charm of classic film clubs, with the liturgy of cinema as a collective spectacle. Beyond a simple screening, the act of going to the cinema becomes a shared ritual, an experience that is nourished by both the cinematic work and the community that gathers to watch it.

With carefully selected films and themes, film clubs represent an opportunity to immerse ourselves in a collective journey through the art of cinema. The darkness of the room, the shared laughter and whispers, and the collective anticipation before the screen comes to life, contribute to a special connection between film lovers. In this space, the film is not just mere entertainment, but an experience that is shared and lived as part of a whole.

In these rooms, the real charm is not limited to the screening. The importance of the post-debate is highlighted as an essential component of this experience. After the lights go up, the opportunity arises to reflect and discuss the film just seen. This exchange of ideas does not only focus on the cinematic work itself, but also on the themes it addresses. Cinema, as an art, has the power to generate profound dialogues about the human condition, society and the world around us.

Because there is nothing more avant-garde than the classic. Now, FILMIN and KANDALE FILMS are turning the cultural centre of reference in Malaga, “La Térmica”, into a film club where you can see the best new films. KANDALE FILMS is organising this activity, in which each title will have a brief introduction that will provide information about the film and its author, helping the viewer to direct their gaze.
