Please Rachel, put businesses out of their misery and get on with the Budget

For SMEs, it’s not the level of taxes themselves that inflict the greatest harm; it’s the paralysis caused by indecision. From June through to the late-November Budget, firms hold their breath, waiting for clarity. Then comes December the traditional slowdown ,and, in reality, no major strategic decisions are made until late January or February.
