Many could never see the last one in the row, the musical duo composed of Manolo García and Quimi Portet, on the stage. But they can be compensated in 2026. After almost three decades of absence united, one of the most mythical pop-rock groups in Spanish meets to make a tour, Garcia himself announced in his account of the Instagram social network.
Gathered in Barcelona in 1985 as the successors of the Los Fast and Los Burros Group, the last one in the row launched songs like Insurrection, dear miracles, silver airplanes, it’s four days, But in 1998 they separated to launch their solo careers, with a statement that said they did “for reasons of artistic hygiene.” It was in 2023 when this reunion began, with the album Pyramidal disruptionin which they gathered new versions of their previous successes, and in spring of 2026 the public can live it live in cities such as Fuengirola (Málaga), Barcelona, Roquetas del Mar (Almería), Madrid, San Sebastián, A Coruña, Aviles (Asturias), Seville and Valencia, where they will still be without an indicated date, as announces its website.
When asked in 2023 in case they were turning again, Portet replied: “To do it one day, it seems that this tour, because of the most intimate nature of these new versions, would ask for small stores more than stages or pavilions.” Garcia, on the other hand, joked: “Although we wanted to go for retirement, then it would be the Bernabéu.” Tickets, without confirmed premises, will go on sale on Thursday, May 29 at 10 in the morning.
