TIAS School for Business and Society’s master’s programs have been on Keuzegids’ list of excellent master’s programs for years. This year the same, even better. The three fields that are always very successful are now also points, but two new ones will be added in 2024.

In the selection guide Masters 2024, Dutch masters are evaluated and compared based on the results of the National Student Survey 2023. This happens in the areas of content, teachers, testing, career readiness and atmosphere. This year, fourteen university master’s degrees received the maximum points out of all these points, five of which are from TIAS.

The Executive Master of Information Management, Real Estate Executive Master and Executive Master of Marketing have received maximum points for years. This year, the Executive Master of Business Valuation and the Executive Master of Finance and Control were added.

In universities, master’s degrees in the fields of economics and business administration, as well as law and administration are particularly popular. The only exception is the research master in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease from Radboud University in the field of land and environment. At the University of Applied Sciences, master’s students were more careful in their evaluation. Last year, the maximum score was eight master’s studies, now three.

No institutional investments

The selection guide is based on a national student survey conducted in the spring of 2023. In contrast to bachelor’s programs, no figures are available for master’s programs on dropout rates and pace of studies. Experts no longer tell which courses are successful during accreditation.

For this reason, after 2020, the editors have no longer made a list of the best institutions for master’s degrees. The Keuzegids want to base the investment on at least two sources.
