Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is looking for parent and community volunteers to serve on the school system’s District Committee on Assessment.

Meeting dates are Feb. 22; March 28; April 18; May 2; and May 25.
Below are topics for each meeting.
- Meeting 1 – Section 7-203 of the Education Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, previous recommendations, College and Career Readiness (CCR), Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) and CCPS common assessments.
- Meeting 2 – Testing minutes, Stiggins rubrics to review assessments, level meetings and review of current assessments.
- Meeting 3 and 4 – Individual working groups to evaluate the assessments using rubrics and create recommendations.
