Workshop Content:
Immersion in Analog Photography:
● We will begin our tour with an exploration of the history and evolution of analog photography. We will discover how capturing images on film has stood the test of time, maintaining its magic in an increasingly digitized world.

Analog Camera Domain:
● You will learn how to work with your analog camera, from understanding the basics to getting the most out of its essential functions. We’ll explore how to adjust ISO, aperture, and shutter speed to capture images that reflect your creative vision.

Artistic Inspiration:
● Immerse yourself in the world of artists who continue to choose to work in analog format. We will explore a variety of creative styles and approaches, from documentary photography to fine art photography, drawing inspiration from their work to express different ideas, emotions and visual narratives. In addition, we will highlight the tangible and emotional connection experienced when working with film, as well as the gratification of developing and printing your own photographs in a laboratory.

Community and Continuing Learning:
● We will encourage interaction and the exchange of ideas among participants, thus creating a community of support and mutual learning. At the end of the workshop, we will provide you with a carefully selected bibliography with additional references for those who wish to delve deeper into the art and technique of analog photography. In addition, there will be first-hand advice from artists who already work in this medium only for the participants in the workshop.

Panama Diaz is a visual artist born in Malaga in 1992. She studied Fashion Design in her hometown, later graduating in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in London. She is currently studying the second year of the Master’s Degree in Equality and Gender at the University of Malaga, with which she has just completed a three-month mobility scholarship in Bogotá. With her work she investigates the possibility of social changes through art, using analog photography and photography as the main means. performance.
